هذه المرأة أضربت عن الطعام 16 عاما متواصلا

أنهت ناشطة حقوق الإنسان الهندية، إيروم شارميلا، إضرابا عن الطعام استمر 16 عاما، الثلاثاء، احتجاجا على قانون عسكري تقول إنه أدى لارتكاب فظائع في ولايتها بشمال شرق الهند وتعهدت بمواصلة معركتها بدخول معترك السياسة.

وانهمرت دموع شارميلا، وهي تكسر إضرابها أمام الصحفيين بتقطير العسل في فمها.

وقالت إنها ستواصل المعركة ضد القانون، الذي يمنح قوات الأمن سلطات واسعة لتفتيش الممتلكات ودخولها وإطلاق النار بدون تحذير في مناطق من ولاية مانيبور النائية.
