Have you ever stood in line and felt the unique wrath that comes along with being cut? Same. It's the worst.
But the way this guy retaliated against a woman's questionable grasp on etiquette is a little ridiculous. Filmed by a security camera at the registration desk of a hospital in Yekaterinburg, Russia, this video shows the moment when a young woman forces her way to the front of a huge line.
That's when the man behind her seized the opportunity to exact some revenge by sneakily reaching into her bag and stealing 1,000 rubles (about $15).
Have you ever felt so close to someone that you knew what they were thinking without them saying a word?
Nicole Mayhew certainly knows what I'm talking about. While she was at work one day, she got a terrible feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had no idea why, but she knew that she needed to go home immediately. When she got there, she found her husband, Scott, trapped under his car. He'd been crying for help for over an hour, but no one could hear him.
That's when he knew that he needed to pray for his wife to come find him. Miraculously enough, that's exactly what she did.
Cakes are usually as stunning as they are delicious, but it takes a true ace of cakes to make these desserts look scary.
She may be a nurse in upstate New York by day, but Katherine Dey has a second career as a culinary mad scientist. The artist specializes in making horror-inspired treats that will make you feel queasy and hungry at the same time.
When it comes to creepy cakes, Katherine Dey's are a cut above the rest.
It may look like she's feeding you props from a zombie movie, but rest assured that these cakes are much sweeter than actual human flesh.
Transforming water into ice instantly sounds like something you'd only see in a superhero comic. It's so absurd and unrealistic that it couldn't possibly be a thing that we can do in real life, right?
Using purified water, you can transform regular H2O into ice with just a flick of your fingers. Don't believe us? You really need to see it to believe it.
If you live in a big city, it's not uncommon to walk past at least one doorway with a sign for a psychic.
If you're like me, you might scoff a little at the idea of someone grabbing your palms, telling your future, and reading your mind.
But even if you've never believed all the smoke and mirrors, you should still watch this guy's trick.
Rick Lax claims he can read your mind via Facebook, and while that might sound oddly familiar, the man is quickly becoming an Internet sensation...see why below!
So much of what we do and who we are is online. From birthdays to career paths and even bank accounts -- it's all in the cloud.
But our passwords stop snoopers and ne'er-do-wells from getting to that sensitive information, right?
Most of what we allow our friends to see is actually readily available for criminals and other nefarious parties. To prove that point, Cifas decided to do an eye-opening social experiment at a coffee shop.
If there's one cryptid that seems to have exhausted the interest of the public, it's the Loch Ness Monster. Old Nessie has led researchers on what seems like a wild goose chase for close to 100 years. Still, there are those who will never give up the search for the monster of Loch Ness, Scotland. However, for the rest of us, maybe we should start looking at the lochs in Ireland for some new monsters. This footage from 2013 shows the Nessie-like hump of a creature approaching a small boat in Lough Foyle, also known as Loch Foyle, in Northern Ireland. The creature is seen approaching one boat in a relatively straight line before disappearing beneath the surface.
Ever been made fun of for keeping one foot out from under the covers at night?
Well, now you have science to back you and your sleep decisions up. For those looking to get a good night's sleep, this little guide is going to give you everything you need to know to catch some shut-eye tonight. If you don't use this little trick already, just grab a notebook and check out the video below!
Common sense dictates that they don't exist because we don't have any proof. But all of that might change with the release of this video. Could this footage prove that life after death is real?
This woman was lying in a hospital bed in China when she passed away. Nothing unusual about that. But when you see what happens after a sheet is draped over her lifeless body, you'll probably question everything you believe about the human soul.
Danish aid worker Anja Ringgren Lovén has seen some horrible things, but when she came across one little boy in Nigeria, she was beyond shocked
While working for an aid organization to bring food to southern Nigeria, she came across an emaciated little boy roaming the streets. The two-year-old orphan was naked, riddled with worms and close to death due to starvation and thirst.
In the heart-breaking video of the encounter, the disoriented little boy was too weak to stand after Anja gave him a sip of water. As he kept falling over, she asked why no one was feeding the child. The locals responded, "no mother, no father."
That’s when Anja pieced together the toddler's nightmarish situation. Like thousands of other Nigerian children, he had been abandoned by his family after being accused of witchcraft.
Anja took in the small boy and named him Hope.
We're very happy to report that since his rescue from the streets in January of this year, Hope is now a healthy and happy boy. Being rejected by your own family must be the loneliest feeling a child can experience, but he's found a new loving family now at an orphanage recently opened by Anja.

While most UFOs are puzzling, some UFO hunters are reporting a new breed of extraterrestrial craziness. Back in 2012, a group of dedicated UFO hunters spotted something bizarre in the sky over Laredo, Texas: a triangular UFO that was only visible through an infrared lens. In a post on the Laredo Paranormal Research Society's YouTube channel, group founder Ismael Cuellar said that the object could not be seen without the aid of special equipment. The group says they have also ruled out conventional explanations for what they saw.
So is it a UFO or some new kind of government spy plane? You decide.
When we think of face painters, our brains fill with images of unicorns, balloons, and superheroes.
But South Korean artist Dain Yoon takes a darker, more artful approach to the craft by using her own face and body as canvases for illusions. Using body paint, acrylics, and makeup, she transforms into her most surreal self. By visually transposing her face and hands and painting herself into the world around her, Yoon creates an immersive experience for viewers, leaving a lasting impact that's hard to shake.
Don't believe me? You will when you check out these images and videos
We could sit and argue back and forth all day about justifiable uses of firearms, but we can probably all agree that claiming to use a gun for protective purposes just to cover up the fact that you want to kill someone is inexcusable. This is especially true when you happen to have a tape recorder in the same room as you during the shooting.
On Thanksgiving in 2012, Haile Kifer, 18, and her cousin Nicholas Brady, 17, broke into the home of Byron David Smith, 65, in Little Falls, Minnesota.
They thought the house was empty, but Smith was waiting for them in the basement with a loaded rifle. He opened fire and killed both of them as they entered the room.
First, he shot Brady two times while he was at the top of the stairs. Then he delivered a fatal shot to the head when the teen landed on the floor of the basement. Kifer followed the sound of the gunshots and Smith shot her as well.
When she fell down the stairs, Smith attempted to shoot her again at close range, but his rifle jammed. He then proceeded to unload bullets into her chest with a revolver before shooting her once under the chin, killing her instantly.
The entire incident was captured on audio tape by Smith, who had been sitting in the basement waiting for the teens (whom he had caught casing his place a day earlier) for six hours. On the tape, Smith can be heard rehearsing what he'd say to police and lawyers after the fact. It's pretty disturbing, so consider yourself warned.
When a two-year-old boy visited a zoo in Chiba, Japan, over the weekend, he had no idea how close he'd come to life-threatening danger.
It's easy to forget that the beautiful animals in zoos don't lose their instincts when they're placed behind glass. When the cutie in the yellow coat turned around after getting an up-close and personal view of a powerful male lion, the cat charged the class to get a closer look at him (or worse).
Although zookeepers have reportedly claimed that the lion meant no harm and simply wanted to play, it's hard to come to a solid conclusion either way.
According to Adam Roberts, chief executive of Born Free USA, things could have ended very differently."Lions are natural predators and the child in this video, especially when turning his back to the massive feline, became prey in the animal's eyes," he said. "The firm glass wall held the lion inside his enclosure, surely frustrating his innate instincts. If the barrier had not held up, the consequences could have been catastrophic."
If there's one thing you can say about medical science, it's that we develop new treatments at an almost incomprehensibly fast pace. That being said, state-of-the-art medical treatments today might be considered brutal a few short decades from now. For evidence of this axiom, we need only look back at how we used to treat diseases like epilepsy. Doctors used to opt for a type of brain surgery that involved severing the neural connection between the two hemispheres of the brain.
Fittingly, the procedure was known as split-brain surgery.
The process involved opening up a patient's brain and severing the corpus callosum, which is the main connection between the two hemispheres. With this connection gone, not only were symptoms of epilepsy reduced, but other strange things began to happen, like the development of split-brain syndrome.
Researchers Michael Gazzaniga and Roger W. Sperry were among the first physicians to study split-brain syndrome, and their findings were pretty disturbing.
What they found is that individuals with split-brain syndrome, because the different sides of the brain weren't communicating, developed what seemed like split personalities. The left side of the brain would give orders that reflected the person's rational goals, and the right side of the brain would issue conflicting orders that revealed the person's hidden desires
While these developments are rare, they do happen. Luckily, split-brain surgery is now only a last resort for treating epilepsy and it's safer than it used to be.
Ultrasound pictures are really adorable...except when they're not.
If you're not sure what I'm talking about, then boy do I have a treat for you!
When we think about how cute our ultrasound images will be, we rarely (if ever) think that our unborn babies will inspire any uneasy feelings. But when you feast your eyes on these terrifying photos, you may rethink having kids altogether. Get ready to start screaming.
1 ."Congratulations, you're having a demon."
2. Is that a baby or alien spawn?
3."I want to play a game, Mommy."
4. Well, that's going to be burned into my brain forever.
For anyone who pays attention to visits from our alien neighbors, you know that UFOs come in a variety of shapes and sizes. First, there's the classic saucer UFO, and then there's the iconic (but mysterious) cigar-shaped UFO. Some speculate that these cigar UFOs are motherships of some sort. Strangest of all, however, are triangle UFOs. Usually, the shape is inferred by the arrangement of lights on the underside. To UFO researchers, triangle UFOs are certainly the most mysterious and the most threatening. In recent years, the number of triangle UFOs spotted has skyrocketed. The most recent sighting of a triangle UFO occurred over Charlottesville, Virginia. Luckily, the person who spotted the craft had their camera on hand.
Researchers are calling this the clearest triangle UFO footage they've ever seen.
Of course, there is always the possibility that this video is fake, or that what we're seeing isn't actually a UFO. It's easy for your imagination to start running wild with footage like this, but that just makes keeping a level head all the more important.
You might not have heard about it, but back in mid-April, there was an absolutely devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Ecuador. The death toll from the quake surpassed 500 in the coastal areas along the Pacific Ocean. In the weeks since, footage from security cameras that were running during the earthquake has surfaced. The film seems right out of a disaster movie.
In its wake, the earthquake left at least 500 people dead, 107 missing, and more than 4,000 injured.
The quake also managed to damage close to 1,500 buildings and triggered numerous mudslides. In total, more than 20,000 people were forced from their homes and into shelters.
